For the £ very pleased, it’s a beautiful old building but with that high maintenance, and building looks tired in places. But clean, staff friendly, free accessible parking was kindly given an upgrade as booked wrong room, very quiet. I would use again as a quick overnight stay around work.

The hotel was fine but very tired and basic. Fine for an overnight. Breakfast was offer for 15 and over priced. It was again fine, but no coffee or hot water was available. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Bit of an odd mix. Fine for an overnight stay or airport stop off but I’d not recommend the breakfast purely based on cost.

The pictures are not what they seem. A double bed is more like a single and a half, very springy couldnt sleep, there was one hanger and small rail for clothes and no iron, the fan had not enough power. Upgrade was £160 which is ridiculous. Eating area table has crumbs not wiped down at all. Staff are pleasant however. Free parking

On arrival was meet with a smile and asked how we were and once checked in was shown to our room and said if we needed anything not to hesitate to ask , The room was very spacious and clean , we didn`t eat there on this occasion but what we could smell coming from the dinning room was amazing . Would happily stay there again .

Considering how quiet the hotel was with only two bookings, there was one member of staff doinf multiple roles. The room was like a furnace, no hair dryer in the room, the sink and bathtub had stains around the plughole, the water pressure was extremely poor, the shower door leaked water through which soaked the bathroom floor, the bed when you lift up the layers was dirty so never gets cleaned properly, just new sheets each time. The sheets smelt of chlorine. The TV massively lags, pillows rubbish. Very disappointing as it looked so nice online. Must be very old photos online!
