"Stayed 6 nights in September 22 and the hotel was in the progress of being revamped.
We stayed in room 306, a 3rd floor sea view room with lift access, which had been well decorated to a modern design. There were at least 5 double electrical sockets in the room "wow" what a plesant change. The new carpet was a very light grey, good luck with that one!. Unfortunately the wardrobe was an old one and wouldn't fit coat hangers in at right angles to the front. This made it quite awkward to get clothes out of it (perhaps this was a work in progress and hadn't been changed yet?).
Shower cubical was superb having a double headed modern unit installed. With the bathroom having with new modern sanitaryware and a large light up mirror. Lovely soft white fluffy bath and hand towels which were changed everyday as requested, just one small point was that there was nowhere to store or hang them up.
The kitchen and bar area weren't up and running during our stay so no cooked breakfast were available and alcoholic drinks were table service only, which appeared to work well with the staff.
We would definately return and hope to see the hotel when in full swing, all the staff we encountered were helpfull and pleasant. Thank you for helping to make this Weymouth stay a very happy one."
