Lovely staff, fantastic location and clean room with all necessary amenities. It’s an old building in a coastal location so there was a breeze coming through the room (we had a top floor sea view room), but that said it was warm and comfortable and the view more than made up for it. Greeted by friendly receptionist on arrival who showed us to our large, airy sea view room. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Dinner in the evening was freshly cooked and served in the dining room. Plenty of choices for breakfast and this was cooked to order. I am coeliac, so gluten free options were available.

this used to be a wonderful hotel but sadly not any more.we booked a supposedly superior room, but in what sense superior remains a mystery. we stayed for 3 nights and no breakfast or dinners were served nor was the room serviced at all.This was reportedly due to staff shortages. Overall it felt like staying at the Marie celeste ! ! very sad.
