Not what I was expecting

Booked a family room for 3 adults but the room slept 4. Only 2 mugs and glasses, only 1 chair and a stool for the desk with a mirror that’s to low and no light. Tea tray was also placed where there was no plug. Rubbish left behind one of the bedside tables. Overall I was not that impressed. Will not be returning.

Food was ok fair, a bit over priced, need to pay attention to swimming pool, the bottom of pool is very rough in places, grandson split his toe, the back of my friends hand were grazed, And house keeping needs attention as well floor in room was dirty that was never cleaned for 3 nights while we were there .

The staff were very friendly & helpfull, the whole hotel is very clean & well kept, in a good location a short walk from the green hill section of the beach, the only slight let down is yhe parking, the marked out bays are very small for modern cars & it does get busy, i walked everywhere rather than use my car once i parked upon arrival. That was the only thing i can say that let it down slighty. Other than that, lovely hotel, great staff.

Ideal place to stay only a 5 minute walk to the sea front 20 minute walk to the Pavilion to take in a show and visit the harbour and town. Excellent leisure facilities with good inside pool area especially if a trip to the seaside is rained off. Far enough away from the late night music along the promenade.

Lovely stay, assistance to second floor would be good as very steep staircase, advised that we didn’t need to book carvery but received quite a frosty welcome when we turned up.. Comfy stay and would visit again.

The hotel is starting to look and feel dated… lacking attention to detail with the cleaning - in dire need of a deep clean especially the higher areas. The pool facilities are good and the food is very reasonable from the bar area. Staff are friendly.

Acceptable but not good value.

A short stay in this well located hotel a few minutes walk from the promenade and a 20 minute walk to the town centre. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The comfort type room was adequate in space but the double bed was a 4'6" so quite small, it was also a bit on the soft side. The room had no view other than air conditioning units which were noisy. The bedroom did not have air con so the windows were kept open in the warm heat.
