Lovely rural Dorset pub. Excellent food, locally sourced. Staff very friendly. It is very rural, and that is its charm. Do be prepared for high hedgerows and single track roads but worth it when you get there.

If you fancy a comfortable, clean and friendly Dorset inn with the best of breakfasts and delicious high quality meals, book in at The Marquis of Lorne. This was a wonderful property which friendly staff. The bar is shut in the afternoon and reopens at 6PM. The food is of a high standard and the breakfast was fantastic. If you near Bridport and you need somewhere to stay this is a must.
