Great location. Great value for it's price. Everything is walking distance. We enjoyed the neighborhood. However, for us it was a little too dark. If I was by myself I would've been scared. Also, we our flight arrived after breakfast, and we asked for something light to eat (even a tea with biscuits) and we were told that breakfast is over. Other than that, it's a good hotel. We're thankful for the stay!

Dirty Hotel with rooms that are super small. No real Windows. Almost every room faces a wall or do not have a Fresh Air Window at all. Breakfast was Not good at all and the breakfast Room as well as other facilities were super Dirty. For this Price we could have had so many better choices in Karaköy.

I recently stayed at Ferman Port Hotel, Special Class in Istanbul and overall had a positive experience, mainly because of its unbeatable location. It’s centrally situated, making it very easy to get around—whether crossing the bridge to Sultanamet, a tram ride to the north or hopping on ferries to explore different parts of the city. The staff were excellent throughout my stay—friendly, helpful, and attentive, which definitely made a difference. That said, the property itself feels a bit rundown, especially considering it’s in such a historic area. My standard room was decent and comfortable enough, but it could definitely use some updates. In the end, the location is really the standout feature here. If convenience and accessibility are your top priorities, this hotel is a solid choice.

Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Don’t choose Superior Family Room if you want to have a room with a window - it has a false window facing an internal shaft, with no natural daylight coming in. Some details are a bit worn and need a bit of attention, like chipped plates in the breakfast restaurant, both wall clocks in the room with no batteries, deteriorated seals in the shower, limescale on the faucets, and so on. But otherwise everything was ok.
