The Icon was an extraordinary discovery. The hotel is beautiful, immaculate and the breakfast is one of the best I've had including times when I've stayed at high end hotels. The staff is friendly and responsive, and ever so helpful when directions, taxis are needed, or just when you want to learn more about Istanbul. The price was far less than other hotels in the area. There are several restaurants nearby which offer some of the best Turkish food, fusion restaurants, and one great coffee shop called Luna. And they are all in walking distance. On my next trip, I will stay at the Hotel Icon.
