My family and I stayed at this boutique hotel a few times in the past and like it due to its fun atmosphere with a little pool and fun pool bar with swings you can hang out on while you get drinks and listening to music. This particular time we chose to stay here and celebrate my son 13th birthday with friends and family by the pool getting drinks and listening to music, but On this particular stay there was some extreme weather causing all the amenities to be shut down and power to the entire hotel to be off for most of the first day we were there the hotel. The hotel had no backup power so guest were given a few glow sticks to provide light for there rooms no ac. The second day was not much better weather was still overcast with some rain but the pool access to the only pool was very limited due to a event at the hotel and the pool bar also was closed too for the event and closed for the day prior to the event. so with the weather being not so great and the pool being closed the kids hung out in room for bit only to find out the tv in the room was broken and could not catch any station or stream movies off our phones which sucked to keep a bunch of kids entertained. We call the front deck they tried but couldn’t fix it. The Last day there was not much better the pool was open, pool bar was closed no music just sad vibes of stay that never happened..in the end leaving this hotel left me feeling more drained, exhausted and sad this was not a relaxing get away just expensive.
