We stayed for a week so that we could visit family. We stayed in the Kona tower. It seems as though the room we were put in had not been occupied for a while. On the first night, there was holes in the sheets and no body wash in the bathroom. They fixed those two things the next day when I called down to housekeeping. They serviced the room every day of our stay which was nice. The bathroom is small and can fit one person in it comfortably. There is a refrigerator and microwave in the room which was a plus. There is no balcony but the sliding door did open out to get outside air. The parking was terrible. They charge $39 a night and the parking garage is small. We just found street parking every night as it was free and the mall is right next door so we could move the car to the mall parking area during the day. All and all the hotel is decent. Needs a little updating in the Kona tower but it was good for what we needed it for.

The toilet clogged , the drawer fell almost on my feet . There is a lei making starting at 9 am by 9:06 space is gone they only ordered 1 box , good for 20 guests.

Nice bed, sheets and view. Alarm clock was too small to read the print and set! Coffee maker should have label stating “Press 2x to start” because how difficult would that be? Not enough Coffee Mate or regular sugar. No Kleenex anywhere? For over $300 per night it’s not good value, sadly.

Staff were extremely courteous. Bed was too bumpy, soft and uncomfortable. Clean rooms but I could see a lot of dust under the refrigerator. Even with the AC off it was cold. I has to use my jacket and extra towel to keep warm through the night.
