A lot of people leave bad reviews. The staff was friendly, we had AC even got cold, every hotel in Hawaii has a resort fee. For the price and location you can’t go wrong! We will stay here again

First of all they never bring anything you ask for! They are very dirty! They have a lot of cockroaches never again will I be staying there!

Positives: friendly staff, beds comfortable, shower temperature and pressure good, good location in Waikiki. Negatives: filthy floors/carpets throughout. Charged daily resort fees for what? A pool is all there is. Daily valet fees is straight money grab as it is impossible to find self parking anywhere. Advertised as a suite with range to cook on. No range. Had to specially request a toaster. My city view was of the backside of an abandoned building covered in trash. Patio furniture has never been cleaned. Needed to cover in towels to sit on. Killed at least 10 cockroaches. Found one on my spare bed on my last night. When I showed front desk the dead cockroach, they said sorry. Several floors had to vacate a quarter of a day for pesticide spraying in rooms. No offer of compensation for inconvenience. Water shutoff for several hours on the next day. No offer of compensation for inconvenience.
Same cockroach just zoomed in before I killed it.

We only stayed 4 nights and after the 1st night the AC stopped working and then the bathroom wall was literally falling apart the paint peeled and the Sheetrock was coming off, we got switched rooms and then the next room the AC was leaking and the floor was flooded and we had to have buckets to catch the water. Wouldn’t recommend this place. It was my 40th birthday and my families 1st time in Hawaii and was so disappointed in the quality with how much we paid and the pictures they have on the page are very deceiving

Property was near the beach but the hotel itself is run down, the smell of the room is old and moldy. Staff was welcoming, it was a quick stay and a convenient location with a lot of shopping/food options.

The fact that they charge $45 for valet parking in the parking lot literally right outside of check out is absolutely ridiculously high. The rooms dont have microwave, the toilets are small low to the ground which makes it hard for physically disabled people. The air and refrigerators were on the blink off and on. Definitely wouldnt recommend staying there.

Great location bad situation

Location was great. But their credit card machine wasn’t working, it took a long time to check-in. The water was turned off for hours during the day. They have bugs. The beds were ok. Their staff was trying to be as helpful as possible with all the situations that were happening.

Ohia is always good. Staff is kind and accomodating. The only issue I had was our toilet wasn’t working the first night we were there but they did credit me one night resort fee to make it up.
