I enjoyed my stay here. I was a little nervous based on the past reviews on trip advisor. However, my experience was excellent. Friendly staff, clean and updated rooms. There is a resort charge but it was explained clearly to me. Plus the fee includes a $25 dinning credit among other perks. I'd definitely return to stay here.

Our stay started off extremely poorly. We arrived around 2:00 PM and had prepaid approximately $4,300 in full at booking, expecting to pay only the $48/night destination fee and daily valet parking at check-in. During check-in, the front desk agent charged my credit card another $4,300, stating there was no record of payment. After I provided my receipt and confirmation number, he admitted the charge was a mistake. Despite this, I was told the duplicate charge could not be refunded until checkout, leaving me with an unnecessary charge on my card for the duration of our stay and additional processing time afterward. Check-in issues continued. Although official check-in was 3:00 PM, our room was not ready on time, resulting in nearly an hour waiting in the lobby. Once keys were issued, we still could not access our room due to intermittent elevator outages. Assigned to the 29th floor, we waited roughly another hour for elevator service. After finally reaching our room, our luggage was delayed an additional hour due to the elevator issues. After a long flight, we were unable to settle in or even shower. I offered to retrieve our luggage myself but was told I would have to do so without a luggage cart or continue waiting. Between the duplicate charge, lack of immediate resolution, late room readiness, elevator failures, and luggage delays, this was an unacceptable start to a stay at this price point.

Hotel is new, but staff in general felt very cold and not helpful at all. They charge valet fee of $60 per night but the valet service was slow. One of the valet service member was extremely rude to me and told me park somewhere else. Went and complained to the front desk but they didn’t do anything. Check in guy was very cold and anything I ask there general reply is no we can’t help. Pool area was good and son enjoyed it. Room was kind of small and didn’t have a sofa, just couple of chairs. Bathroom was modern with Toto seats. Location was little far from Waikiki area.

Women only spa for 24 hours if spa service used. Open to all: Outdoor common area:lap pool, big pool, two hot, hot tubs. The $50 day resort fee not great, but offsetting the $25 on good supplied at bar, spa, restaurant helped and was worth it. Walkable property. Right above Sam’s Club, near Walmart and Target and Ala Moana Center. Great for kids and honeymooners.

All the negative reviews about this place turned out to be true. The room was extremely dirty, and there was a very strong smell of dog urine and feces throughout the space. The female front desk staff member who checked us in (I didn’t catch her name) was also quite unfriendly. This hotel absolutely does not deserve a 5-star reputation. I would not recommend staying here.

The hotel was nice—clean, quiet, and conveniently located, and the staff was friendly. I have two complaints. The first one is that the price listed on Expedia is deceptive, because the hotel charges a $48 fee per night. This fee can be used as daily credit towards their restaurant, but still it’s deceptive. Second, the gym had three peloton bikes but two had broken seat posts, so only one could be used (and it wasn’t in great shape). Everything else was great.
