"We loved our stay here. We only stayed one night because we had other places to explore on the island, but we would have loved to spend more time at Barbara's residence. It's a very peaceful place with lush vegetation and soothing decor. We spent the night in the Lomilomi room, which was beautifully decorated (refined, harmonious, serene) and spacious. We arrived in the evening, but in the morning we were able to enjoy the superb view of the sea and the cliffs in the distance from the room. Every detail has been taken care of, making you want to stay. I've never had the opportunity to sleep in this kind of unusual room before. On top of that, we slept very well, the bedding is very good. You can hear the faint sound of frogs, but it doesn't bother you at all, and if it does, earplugs are provided. I actually found it very pleasant. The icing on the cake was the excellent and varied breakfast prepared by the team, which you can enjoy on a beautiful terrace while admiring the view. I highly recommend this somewhat magical place. Thank you, Barbara, for this wonderful surprise."

"This was the most beautiful retreat like location it literally is 10 times better than it appears in the posting. This home is decorated with love and attention. The property is secluded safe and beyond words. We absolutely looked forward to coming home in the evening to hear the frogs to nap in the afternoon, hearing the chickens, and to wake to the rooster Keiko was an added bonus as the most lovable dog on the island. Due to line maintenance we did return home to no power one evening. The host was responsive within minutes. We lit candles and enjoyed the frogs until power was restored a few hours later. - we had zero issues. Hands-down, our best VRBO experience."

"If you’re looking for a home away from home that’s just 10 minutes from the best snorkeling, you have found the place. We were greeted by Tina and Keri with fresh eggs, papayas, avocados and bananas and coffee straight from their land. Everything is authentic, especially the kindness and care they bring, including the best muffins and cake and expert knowledge of where to snorkel. Their library of guidebooks on nature, hiking, and travel were awesome, as well as every possible thing you might need, including coats to use for a trip to the volcano. This area, South Kona, is a special place to relax and enjoy Kona coffee, and adventures with a rainbow of fish. A big Mahalo to Tina and Keri for a trip of a life time. "
