Bath tub hot water was regulated down - couldn't get hot enough for my tastes. Pot in kitchen was scratched up. Friday morning breakfast was awesome, Saturday's was crowded, not well stocked, messy. This is a great facility, though, and we'll use it again.

Check-in was smooth, the lady who checked us in was welcoming, polite and friendly. She showed us where breakfast was served and pointed us to where we could find the pool and the workout room. The staff serving breakfast was also friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good, with some variety. The room was clean and nicely organized. We brought our pup which was awesome. I had read a review stating there was evidence of a pet having stayed in their room prior to them. I did not experience this - the room was pristine, the bedding was fresh, the floors were clean, and the couch was comfortable. We loved our stay. Highly recommend!

Room was a little ‘tired’. Guests above us must have been rearranging furniture all night. Slamming drawers and stomping around until midnight. Then started again at 6am. We’ve stayed at several Residence Inn’s over the last few years and the bed here was terrible. Staff was very friendly, especially the breakfast attendants. Location very convenient to several different dining options.

I recently stayed at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Harrisonburg, VA, and was very disappointed with the overall experience. The staff were friendly and did their best to help, but that’s about the only positive I can mention. The pool and hot tub were both dirty, with cloudy water and a strong, unpleasant odor coming from the pool area that made it hard to relax. The breakfast was also underwhelming, with a very limited menu and low-quality options that didn’t meet the Marriott standard I expected. The room itself was overpriced and clearly in need of renovation. There were visible damages to the walls and wallpaper, and the overall appearance felt tired and uninviting. Even the gym was disappointing — very little equipment and not well maintained. For the price I paid, I expected much better. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again or recommend it until serious updates and cleaning improvements are made.

We loved this hotel and will be using it again. Our kids loved the pool and hot tube and the location of the hotel was perfect for JMU football! 10 out of 10!
