The Breakfast featured a god variety of choices including scrambled eggs, bacon, cold cereal and waffles. There was also, a restaurant on the hotel premises for dinner. It had a good variety of meal options. Need to check which days the restaurant is open.

All good, only issue was that sadly the town is currently undergoing a huge renovation with the road outside the hotel blocked and dug up.

The staff were very pleasant, and we were able to check-in early. Our Sigmund Freud theme room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The Library Bar has a very classic vibe and delicious cocktails. This hotel is a hidden, historic gem. I’d highly recommend it for business or pleasure.

They did not tell us until the night before (too late to cancel) that the whole main street was torn up. We heard construction noises overnight, and there was no pretty street experience, no patio open. This should be disclosed at time of booking.

Currently there is construction on the main street which could impact ones enjoyment of the town. The hotel itself was great and all of the staff were super friendly. I would encourage guests to call the property to find out the status of construction prior to booking.
