"The hotel is in a great location, it was a great hotel at some point, which you can tell because of the space and the decorations, but it is in need of renovations. The room is very big. However, it was extremely outdated. The floors are scratched up, the soap dispenser fell off the wall when you attempted to use it in the bathroom. It’s just outdated and old and worn out. This hotel did feel very safe and the restaurant had really great food we do would have preferred some type of hot tub which was closed a couple of years ago. They are doing construction outside so if you want to sleep past 8 AM, bring your earplugs. the location is a nice walk to get to downtown and also to get down by the water. There is a supermarket close by. You can walk there within 10 minutes. The staff was very helpful, the front desk, the restaurant everyone was friendly and answered all questions and was helpful. The sky bus will pick up from this location and tourist pick up from this location as well. Overall, it was a good stay, the condition of the room was just disappointing."

"The hotel was very convenient to the airport. The hotel was very clean and room. Nice shower and bathroom setup. Nice down comforter on the bed I would prefer an option of a single top sheet to be cooler. The food in the onsite restaurant was tasty with good service."

"I thought the hotel was quaint and different (good way). The room was small but good enough for our shorter stay. The only thing I wished for was a fan as it was stuffy this time of year. The breakfast was included and good, replenished quickly. The hot tub and area were clean and well maintained. I wished at this time of year it would be open a little longer in the evening. It was easy to get around and only a short drive to Reykjavik. The bathroom was interesting where the shower wasn't enclosed, so the floor was wet for a bit. There is a squeegee tool to remove the water which worked well. Small issue, nothing much. We didn't get to eat at the restaurant as we arrived too late in the evenings, but we heard it was good. Parking was included and decent. Everyone working was pleasant and helpful our entire trip. Good value and lovely place to visit!"
