"We stayed at the Spirit Lake Lodge due to making a last minute decision to visit Grand Lake for the July 4th weekend. We had never stayed before, and had no idea how nice the room would be. We stayed in unit 21, which was a one-bedroom mini-suite with a kitchenette and a queen in the bedroom and futon in the front room. We were pleasantly surprised at how nicely done the rooms were. The furniture and cabinetry were all in a "lodge look" pine. the kitchenette came with a mini fridge/freezer, microwave, dishes and cookware. There was a tv in the front room and in the bedroom. The bath was small but very clean, as was the rest of the accomodation. The property is in the heart of the downtown area, a block from the park, and two blocks from the public docks and beach area.
Overall, we were extremely pleased with our choice to stay here, and would do it again in the future.
