"The room was clean but the bathroom faucet was to be desired. The hot tub seemed like it could have been a little cleaner. The rest of the facility was clean and well kept. We happen to be staying on a hockey tournament weekend and were woken at 4 am by the other guests carrying on at the front desk. But everything else was good."

"The property was fairly clean, and I appreciate the flooring not being carpet. However, both my husband and I had an issue with the bed. I woke up with pain in my ribs and hips due to the firmness of the bed, and my husband had an issue with his pillow. Since we were there to sleep, it would have been nice if we could have slept rather than tossed and turned all night."

"The cabin was welcoming to our dog, Bosso and to us. We appreciated the carpeted floors and the mats in the kitchen area for our tripod Bosso; he relaxed right away. The first couple of nights were very cold, but the cabin with the fireplace kept us nice and toasty, despite the main floor windows being a bit drafty. Another thing to keep in mind is that the steep, creaky stairs to the bedroom are a bit scary, especially with no handrail and us being 75. We were lucky to be there at full moon to watch it through the huge skylights in the bedroom. Soaking in the hot tub was also nice under the full moon. We loved the cabin location, quiet, private and with the automatic gate, we felt safe. We very much enjoyed meeting Marie and her horses, and of course, the big handsome boy, Dodge."
