The condos we rented at The Hilton, Bent Creek were very clean, comfortable and well stocked and worked well for us. The condos are about 13 miles from Gatlinburg so they aren’t close to most of the attractions so that might be something for others to consider. If I had children with me, I would definitely stay closer to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg so we would be closer to things. There are also not a lot of restaurants or anything nearby, so keep that in mind when booking here. Theresa’s Diner is just down the road though and the food and service there are incredible! I’m so thankful that we are there! It worked well for us as we didn’t mind being off the beaten path a little and you’re surrounded by beauty, so that was a plus. The staff were also wonderful and extremely helpful if we had a question and we truly appreciated their assistance! Overall, I would highly recommend this property based upon one’s needs as a traveler. If I were traveling with a family though, I would look for other lodging closer to the nearby towns.

it's a little far from Smoky Mountains so if you plan to hike there, make sure leave early and get to the Park by 7:30 AM to find parking spots

Very Disappointed

The room accommodations were very dated, the room was smaller than anticipated (pictures are deceiving) and although the staff was very friendly there wasn’t any type of “service” to rate. They never cleaned our room the entire week of our stay. We chose the “Hilton” because of the reputation, past experiences, and amenities (which used to include tidying up the room daily). Not to mention the ants in the bathroom sink I cleaned out every morning and the spider that woke me up in the middle of the night crawling across my arm. One of the main reasons we chose the Hilton was so I could relax and enjoy a week free from cleaning everything and just enjoy our trip. If we would’ve known that conditions we would’ve experienced in advance, we would’ve paid the minimal extra for an AIR BNB or VRBO. It would have been more spacious and private at the very least.

Excellent Suites and Amenities

Wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff is super friendly and attentive from the front desk to maintenance to housekeeping. Diana was super helpful upon check-in and Greg went above and beyond to make sure everything was in good working order. Housekeeping staff was friendly and attentive. The grounds are beautiful and the location is away from all the traffic and noise. Very peaceful. We will definitely stay here again.

Things that need to be addressed.

Overall, the place was nice and comfortable. The people were friendly. The things that need improvement the most are in the shower of our unit. It was set up for very short people. My wife is only 5'4" and she had to duck down to actually get her head under the shower head. Also, the safety bar in the shower is 1/2 blocked by the soap, conditioner and shampoo bottles that are mounted directly over the bar. Also, your place could use a small section where essentials and snacks could be purchased. If I wanted a soda, juice or a snack of some kind, I had to drive down the road about ten miles to find a store that carried these items. We ran into this problem the first night. One more thing... The almost immediate pitch to sell time shares (which ARE the absolute worst "investment" in real estate history) was very annoying. I had to say no numerous times and still was asked again if I would reconsider sitting through a 90 minutes hard sell presentation. I was offered a weeks stay, cash cards, etc. If I say no, I mean no! I don't want this kind of garbage thrown at me when I was there for a getaway. This started our stay on a very negative note...

The location and grounds are lovely. The room we stayed okay, with the kitchen being up to date, but the furnishings were somewhat worn. The bedding was of lower quality, and no services were provided. We needed to take out the trash, and no services were provided. It wasn't billed as an air BnB type rental.
