The room was spotless, the view incredible although I would have preferred the bed in the room with the view. The couch was in terrible condition & there was no comfortable furniture. There were adirondack chairs on the patio but, I'm not a fan. The staff was great! Always available & helpful. The breakfast was better than expected. Didn't get to use the pool because of the weather but, I did see them cleaning it.

Room needed some work- no shelf in the shower, floorboards chipped, dirty walls. We had to pay a daily resort fee when we checked in. However, there was no daily room service and we had to go to the lobby daily to ask for more shower wash cloths, shampoo/body wash (very small bottles). When I asked for new wash cloths and beach towels, they didn’t have any clean in the morning for guests.

We had an absolute blast at Curry Hammock State Park — pure joy and island magic! This park is absolutely wonderful and full of life. You can easily dip your feet in the water, and on the left side of the park you can actually go swimming. There are great spots for sunbathing, and you can spend a long time just observing nature around you. One of our favorite parts was watching the crabs — they were everywhere! It honestly felt like they were standing in line for the best beach spots 😄 And the upside-down jellyfish were simply incredible. They are so beautiful and unusual that you can’t stop staring at them. This place feels alive in every sense of the word. Finding an empty seashell here is almost impossible — they get claimed instantly, apparently by the very efficient local “residents” of the park. The park staff are incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. The park itself is very clean, well cared for, and thoughtfully maintained. You can relax at picnic tables, enjoy the beach, or simply soak in the peaceful atmosphere. The entrance fee is unbelievably affordable: just $2.50 per adult. We paid only $7 total for two adults and two children for an entire day. The ticket is valid all day, so you can leave, go back to your hotel, and return again without paying extra. This is a truly beautiful place for relaxing, especially with children. We absolutely loved it and would happily come back again.

overall clean and safe, nice and quiet beach staff:kind breakfast: not ready on time, ran out of coffee, not refilled immediately, waited long, boiled egg is the only cooked food,but one day ran out early, rest are all fast food parking; safe room: spacious, clean, nice ocean view kitchen: no utensil, no dinnerware dining: check FISH COMPANY

Great location and decent facilities for the money. Bed was terrible- squeaked like crazy with every little move and sofa was torn and worn out. Staff was hit and miss, with one young lady told my wife me we had to move out of our room on the last day because someone else had the room reserved. I then came back and advised her the Expedia reservation was extended and that a young man at the desk assured me we could stay in the same room- she told mynwofe that wasn’t possible. I asked her to check the name on the reservation and it was mine- can’t make this stuff up, She was clueless. So, great location and nice hote. Terrible bed and sofa in our king ocean front suite, room 321. Staff was hit and miss, with two good encounters and one frustrating which almost had us moving out of our room on the last day although it was reserved in our name. 3 stars in the best I can give - probably generous.

This place is a very cute little stay. Easy in and out and convenient parking. Breakfast was good with your basic continental items. The shower had no water pressure but we managed. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner and soap. Room and bathroom was very clean. The beach section is great but could use a few more lounge furniture pieces. A few had ripped seams. Staff was incredible.

We loved this place! The staff was awesome and it looked unassuming but the rooms were big and clean and had everything we needed. We loved the kayak and paddleboard and other activities. We would definitely stay there again!

Had an oceanview king suite. Room was very clean and modern. Loved the large walk-in shower. Downside was the pool. A heated pool was advertised but it felt like icewater.

The staff was very friendly and responded promptly to requests. Kitchen was perfect for reheating or quick easy meal. . At night, it was loud late, as we were right above the common area.
