Listing says there’s a game room on property and there are microwaves in the rooms. Neither of those statements are true. My children were turned away for breakfast one morning 20 minutes before close. Attendant said she wanted to clean up and they could not eat. They closed the pool one night as we were walking in. No explanation, no apology. Very disappointed to have paid that much for stated amenities that were blatant lies. This was for my son’s 13th birthday and this mom is upset that his weekend didn’t go as planned.

Wonderful staff and clean room. Anecdotes and breakfast were on point, as well. However, the lobby at night was dirty and not maintained. Mud was tracked throughout, the microwave was flooded with coffee or soup (and had spilled down into the cabinet and floor). I had to clean it up in order to use it. Also, the interstate noise, engine brakes, sirens and excessively bright parking lot lights all made for poor sleep. (I'm generally not bothered by some sound and light, but this was pretty bad.) I stayed at a few Tru hotels when they were first launched and I loved them. So much so, that I search for them when traveling. They are certainly pricier, but I decided to pay extra to stay here. Given the location, obvious wear & tear, and lack of detailed attention, I won't choose this one again and will think twice when booking a Tru elsewhere. Not as good as they used to be ... especially for the higher cost over your competitors.

We were there for less than 12 hours so my review may not be useful for all. But we had great time there, the staff is great and very helpful. Breakfast was simple yet nice. I just wish they had refilled everything bagels. It was just 7am and when requested the staff said it's finished. So I'm assuming they weren't fresh and carried forward form the previous day. As it's mentioned in other reviews they should definitely change the pillows, they were practically pain in the neck lol ...I asked for firmer pillows but they didn't have any but nice thing is she asked me if I want an extra blanket and we said yes. It was sent to our room quickly. McDonald's is around the corner which closes at 11pm The biggest added point was an EV charger on sight so a big plus for us. All in all a good place to land
