What “bugged” me about my stay?

The room while not appearing to be dirty I confronted 3 bugs types during my one overnight stay. 1.) A red fire ant bit me on the lower leg overnight under the sheet. 2.) There was a spider in the corner above the sink and 3.) a cockroach ran across the sink just before I brushed my teeth. So might I suggest better critter control is needed!

Air conditioner would run continuously, controls did nothing. Had to unplug it! Bed spread worn out , nearly a hole in one place. Arms of the upholstered chair were filthy. Outdoor area was awful. The only grass was along the fence and had not been cut. Small pieces of litter everywhere. Redirect Knights Inn next door was obviously being used by homeless of druggies. Saving grace was that they had employed a guy to sit in his car as security. He was parked right next to our door. He never got out of his car but was a deterrent.

When we stepped into the room 115, there was a foul smell in the room. In the morning we found a cockroach crawling on the wall of the room. The morning receptionist at the reception desk was non courteous. The breakfast was very poor and they didn’t open the breakfast room until past 6:30 AM instead of 6:00 AM as posted in breakfast area.

Clean room

Initially, there was no remote for the TV, but they managed to get me one. Also, I was very disappointed that there was no coffeemaker in the room. Every hotel that I have stayed at in the last two years has had a coffeemaker in the room.

I’ll be perfectly honest, this was the worst place I’ve ever stayed!!!! The rooms were just nasty, outside used needles were littered on top of the green transformer on the side we stayed (room 222) the swimming pool was filthy and green, bed linens were dingy and comforters had burn marks on them, vanity top had burn marks on it… all around just nasty and gross !!People kept beating on the walls and screaming all night!! And that’s not including the idiots who weren’t even staying at the hotel roaming the parking lot!!! The manager is just a mean and rude person!!! NEVER STAY AT THIS PLACE

There are a lot of sketchy people hanging around this property. Just a bunch of crackheads, homeless, and just general sketchy people hanging around. It would be so easy just to call the police to come clean it up a bit. The whole deal just felt shaky. The motel itself needs to clean up the parking lot and building. A good powerwash would go a long way. I think they should even consider a parking lot repave. Yes, it’s that bad. There was some kind of mold on the curtain in the room, and the carpets should be replaced. But the whole vibe of the place had a bad feel with the people who were just “hanging around.” If you are going to be a homeless shelter, be a homeless shelter, otherwise, clean things up.

The room and bed linen were clean. The lady at the front desk was helpful and friendly. Other than that it has a lot lacking. The breakfast was almost non-existent, I understand I should not expect much but I do expect more that coffee with grounds in it, two choices of dry cereal and a choice of one small muffin and that is it. No toast, oatmeal, or fruit or yogurt. On the other side of it they are very greedy. I signed in to per-register as I got sent a link asking me to do so. When I arrived at the facility was told they don't do that and found out I was charged twice and no real refund was offered only one day as it was a no show. If you note someone with the same name, dates and requests has two bookings would you not question that person when they check in? No not them just collect the money as a no show that is greedy in my book. Will for sure never stay here again.
