The room was clean and bed comfortable. Check in was good and staff helpful. My only complaint was in regard to a freezing rain storm that occurred overnight and it made walking to the designated parking area very treacherous. Customers walking to their cars were slipping and sliding as well as falling. The hotel only salted the immediate front of the building directly in front of the door.. they seemed unconcerned about the situation and assistance should have been provided to the guests trying to get to their cars!

Mattress was soiled under the sheets. How a Hyatt doesn’t have a washable mattress cover under the sheets is beyond me! They had a square mattress pad centered on the bed so you’re only protected from allergens if you sleep in the center of the bed. The pillows should also be firmer, or give two soft pillows and two firm. Everything was clean and satisfactory. There is an active train track one light away so I did hear that into the night and it also made travel difficult. I had to reroute on two occasions leaving there because trains came. Eggs were super dry for breakfast.

Check in was quick. Property is well managed and beautiful. Multiple dining choices that are walkable. Room was spacious and clean. Beds and pillow was super comfortable ! The downtown area is quaint! Only downside, parking is across and down the street.

Im a huge dog lover BUT also allergic. I know, its a cruel universe. The location allows dogs which is awesome unless they are everywhere and your allergic. My eyes were so swollen and itchy and couldnt stop sneezing. I had to leave the dining area because there were so many dogs. If no pet allergies I hugely recommend this hotel. If you have pet allergies, stear clear.
