After driving 7 hours i finally got to the hotel and they had one incompetent person running the entire hotel on a Saturday night. The credit card machines were malfunctioning, and the employee was way out of her league as far as coming up with a solution. After about a half an hour she finally managed to created a room card key but waiting that long after 7 hours of driving i 95 hell will never make me take a chance on this hotel again. also, its a bit dated. Might have been a nice double tree 40 years ago, but time has not been its friend.

Check in and out was quick , seamleess, easy with a friendly staff. Bar/restaurant could use a bit of TLC from the offerings to the decor. Totally happy with everything, served our needs perfectly. Room was clean. Plenty of parking in the back. Safe location.

This is a Doubletree?

Overnighter on our way to Hilton Head. Pool towels were tiny. Thin. About the size of medium hand towels… restaurant never opened on a Friday night. We picked this hotel because it had a restaurant and a pool. Expected more from a Doubletree

Not the best experience

The check-in process was horrible. There were 2 girls at the counter and 1 was coloring ignoring people and the other was distracted by other people checking in. She didn't offer us any information other than the wifi sign in info inside the card sleeve. We didn't know what room we were in or where to park or how to get to the room. No information on the amenities available. The light outside our door in the hallway was flickering and made a loud buzzing sound that could be heard in the room which made it difficult to sleep soundly. The bed was not that comfortable. There were hairs in the tub when we got there so it wasn't cleaned completely prior to our checking in. The AC kept turning off in the night and not turning back on to keep the room cool it kept warming up making it harder to be comfortable.
