The shower was broken and never fix till the 3rd day. I call so many time for it to be fix. Staff in the meal time area can be rude at times and giving attitudes. My shuttle that was supposed to pick us from the airport never got us because when we reach the girls at the airport stated that my name and children name was not on the schedule which we did sign up for the free airport shuttle. After 3 long hours with my children, they was also giving us attitude. We got an a shuttle then the driver mistakenly drop off the person at the wrong hotel and had to turn back for them and he was almost closes to our hotel when he turn back plus I have my toddle n 2 other kids and we was also hungry at this time. The travel and hotel experience was rough.

Riu Aquarelle is a lovely property. The public areas and my room were clean and well presented. I loved the inclusion of premium liquor (Gordon's Gin! Johnnie Walker!) In the room. The food was delicious at White Bay, Kyoto and Napoli. The menus/offerings were extensive. It was hard to choose. It was convenient to make reservations via the Riu app. The waterpark was fun and clean. The best part was the staff. They were friendly, warm and helpful. I especially loved the Evolution of Jamaican music showcase from the entertainment team. It was educational and superbly done. My only disappointment was wanting to do the Test Dive in the pool, as advertised on the app but found out it wasnt available at Riu Aquarelle. I think a teen gaming lounge would also be a great addition. Overall, this stay was a 10/10. I would definitely recommend Riu Aquarelle.

The property is fairly new and very clean. The food was great. Theres entertainment every day which is awesome. Loved the water slides. And really appreciate the free charter from the resort to the sister resort in ochos rios for the RIU parties. I had such a great time and already planning to return. Only con would be the rocks in the water at the beach. Be sure to wear swim shoes

I like the rooms and the food in the buffet. However, monday and Tuesday morning it was the same food and it was cold. In addition the porridge was the same everyday. (Cornmeal)Hate the fake flowers. Also, when i reached Donald Sangster airport, they told me my name was not on the list for pick up. And then the ladies who work at the desk, was giving so much attitude. Anyway i like the food away from the steak which was stringey and hurt my teeth. I did enjoyed myself.

The hotel is beautiful. Our room was nice. Some of staff were not the friendliest. Our room was not cleaned in a timely manner. The food was mediocre. I’m not sure if we will stay again. The entertainment crew is the only reason why I would go back. They are pure gold. The performances were amazing. They are the best thing at Riu Aquarelle.

RIU Aquarelle is great hotel, staffs are great and professional. Food is not bad. The cocktail is not that great, you need 3 to 4 glass of cocktails to feel the alcohol.
