Liked the Ice Museum and restaurant. Rooms were clean but the bed mattresses need replacement. Hot Spring, pool, and hot tubs were well maintained but the men's locker room lacks adequate seating for amputees. The Activity Center had good selections but needs some new seating and tables to encourage family gatherings.

The room was large and very clean. Comfortable beds. Check in was easy and reception was nice and helpful. Hot spring area was clean and just the right temperature. Lots of activities if you were interested but just walking the area was great. The restaurant was very busy so we chose to get sandwiches at the activity center market. Really delicious choices including salads and soup and pizza at reasonable prices. A long drive but a nice experience even though the clouds stopped us from seeing the aurora borealis!

Horrible property. They don't have ac in the rooms. The heat is always ON. Apparently geo thermal ..nobody informed us..the room was like a sauna.. never ever staying here

Fun area to visit to enjoy the hot springs. Hoping to see the lights but wasn’t meant to be. Restaurant staffing was struggling due to shortage but the ones working were hard working and the food excellent

There's nothkng quite like soaking in the hot springs! Restaurant has good food at reasonable prices for a hotel/lodge. Great experience!

The rooms were in bad shape and were not clean. Its an old property and bathroom flush were not working properly and shower as well the tap were not working properly. The rooms were not good but property is beautiful

We checked in around 7:00 pm. Checked wait list for dining since we waited all day to dine at your facility only for them tell us they weren't taking anymore table because there was only one server and one kitchen person. So a party of two couldn't be accommodated. So we asked if we could sit at the bar only to be told the bar was closed and we couldn't get any drinks. So we're here less than 18 hours, can't get anything to eat nor drink. Oh but we were told we could go over to the 7-11 type store and have them put a pizza in the microwave. Lovely. Spent quite a bit on a room that the resort has no dining and no spirits whatsoever. Doubtful we will ever come back nor can we based on our experience recommend this resort to anyone. Very disappointed.

You really go to this property for the Hot Springs and additional activities. The rooms are very rustic. And it was an issue to not have a thermostat in each room. By morning it was very warm in our room and we had to open windows, which probably just made the heat stay on longer. The Springs are large and deep (for hot springs). It was very relaxing after a long day of driving.

There were so many options for activities we wish we stayed 2 nights. Ice museum was fun, pool, hot tubs and the hot springs were great. Really appreciated the cafe didn’t overcharge for snacks. Thank you! Grateful also for the laundry that wasn’t outrageously priced ($4 a load. Bring dollar bills.)

Not for kids below 16

I stayed in the resort, and the number of things you can take kids to is minimal Also, there is no cellular coverage, no wifi in the rooms, no fridge, no microwave oven If you need a fridge, you need to deposit your DL at the front desk, which means you can't drive out to see places around I feel you get a hot springs ticket and go there to stay. Better to stay in Fairbanks, where you get comfort, proper food, and a good experience sleeping

Hot springs were great, with the exception of the entry way- which smelled like dog excrement. Hotel room was a little outdated. Service in dining/bar were slow and average. Kids in areas marked- No children. 3 Stars... Chena Geothermal Plant was great to see. :)

The horse back ride was a highlight! The wrangler and her daughter were delightful! Beautiful, easy to ride horses. Fresh salad from the greenhouse was delicious. Hot springs were relaxing and novel in a gorgeous setting.
