Should be called a motel instead of hotel because that’s what it seems like. But my stay was not that great. They were doing loud construction outside the whole time we were there. Every night all throughout the night. The place was just ghetto and will never stay there again. The cleaning crew was nice tho

This is a gem situated in a rougher area. The hotel was beautiful and in its prime it was probably the place to be. It’s an older hotel but well maintained. Room and grounds were immaculate. Parking area is only accessible from front which made it feel more secure. Goggle maps tried to bring me in rear which is fenced off so pay attention if maps is guiding you wrong.

Parking was easy and plentiful. Breakfast was hot, eggs, hash browns, turkey sausage, as well as bagels, fruit and cereal. Hot breakfast because it was weekend. Bed was very comfortable, room was nice and clean. Property was well maintained. I was allowed early check-in. Lots of things to eat and shop for around property. Some walkable, some a minute drive. Pool was closed until further notice but I was only staying 1 night. Got a really good night's sleep especially since night before at different hotel the thunderstorm was very loud and long.

Free onsite parking, rooms had ample space and breakfast choices were decent. Bed was very comfy and there were lots and of places around for food. Only complaint was that the pool wasn’t open for the entirety of our stay and the advertised gym was very outdated, however if you’re keen for a workout there is a gym down the road with a gym which offers $10 day passes. Overall a good base from which to explore the Everglades and Biscayne national parks.

I would give it a higher rating but they advertise they have a pool and they do it’s beautiful yet it’s been shut down and closed off to the hotel guest for 2 years misleading advertising update your listings with Expedia and your website to reflect this if you want to be fair to your guest!
