The room was nice and clean. A few things would make it better, a towel rack in the bathroom, soap tray in the shower, coat hooks in the room and a better way to get in. As the front door was locked and we had to call and get someone to open it.

A very oold building, converted into a hotel a year ago. We drove by it once before realizing where the entrance was. Comfortable queen bed, clean sheets. However there was random other second hand furnishing in the room including a large (?broken) cupboard door against the wall - not belonging to any of the other furniture there. Bathroom shower was too short for the tub which meant a fair amount of water coming outside onto the floor which we had to wipe up. Air conditioning in the room was appreciated on a hot, muggy day. Friendly front desk staff.

The hotel is affordable. The room had updated flooring and freshly painted walls. The bedding looked and smelled clean and fresh. My suggestions to what would have made the room feel more comfortable, A Mirror on the wall in the room. Make the room feel bigger and brighter. Any type of hook, racks or shelves in the bath room. No place to hang towels, at all. Even an over the door hook would have been nice for clothes and towels. The bathroom door did not close.. at all… this should be remedied. Also a toilet paper holder of some kind.. gross just having a few loose rolls on the back of the toilet. There was a toaster and microwave and mini fridge .. a few coffee pods, but no coffee pot. The town looks quaint and there is a 24 hour laundromat near by. Was staying for youth sports and if in the area again would probably stay again.

Staff member was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The reception area was dirty, but not because of negligence. Workers staying at the hotel kept tramping in mud, despite the best efforts of staff to keep the area clean.

Very old restored hotel. The owner works there is was very nice. Surprisingly the small bedrooms are pretty darn cozy. Bring earplugs! Safety issues out the back top floor deck. Broken door handle and no escape down the back stairs which is very concerning.

We booked on Expedia. The had no record of our booking. They didnt even have the booking confirmation. We booked a double queen bed room - they don't even have any! We called days before to ensure there would be someone there to check us in as the reviews we read said there is often no one there to check people in. We requested an early check-in to get ready for a graduation. There was no one present. I called, the man on the other end sounded like he was just out of bed (at 11 am). The woman who checked us in wasted 15 minutes trying to figure things out. The rooms are so small, it smells like mold and mildew, no organization, cleaning rooms into the evening. Strange place. I would not recommend. Go to Hillside Motor Inn. He may not be personable. But at least the rooms are clean and you know what to expect.
