"Very comfortable hotel, better than usual transit accommodation. Not located right by the airport, however transfers run regularly & early, so no problem. Plenty of on-site parking too. A very positive experience overall."

"The staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. The hotel is 20 minutes walk from the Harpa concert hall and much closer to the main shops. The FossHotel is well located. (On a map it's close to the Hofdi) It's a huge hotel and very busy at breakfast as several groups/tours will be getting ready to get out at the same time. Bus stop 12 for tour pickup is right outside (a good thing) but several tour buses turn up around 9.15 and chaos ensues! This is not the fault of FossHotel and if you're relaxed about it it's quite entertaining. We would happily stay there again."

"The property is fantastic. It is in very close proximity to the capitals city center. The hotel has a great sauna and cold plunge to refresh after a flight or just relax after a long day of exploration. The hotel has a nice cafe attached to it and a bar that serves great cocktails and bites. The front desk is super friendly and helpful. In particular Louisa was amazing. She helped plan our stay and had good recommendations on what to do and where to go. She also was super helpful to extend our stay in light of our flight being cancelled. Overall a very pleasant experience to kick start a wonderful trip in Iceland. Would highly recommend."
