"Great location to downtown Fairbanks and pickup for tours. Restaurant breakfast buffet is not good for price. Its more of a limited continental breakfast. Gift shop was closed so no access to needed amenities. Rooms are older and it shows - carpet, showers, heating/air, tv channels. The restaurant/bar staff is amazing, we ate most meals there because were appreciated them so much. The other hotel guests are mixed clientele so it can be loud and chaotic even if in your own room. We didn't sleep well at any point. "

"What a great hotel! So much to do and see. Rooms were clean and amenities were great. The only thing I would comment on (not a complain) is I wish the inside bar would have been opened."

"Great transition hotel to stay on way to airport. They have a shuttle and choices for breakfast. Place could use some upgrades, but for what it is, it works "

"I checked into my room, left my luggage and went out to dinner. I came back and my room key did not work, no problem, go to get a new one. I'm at the desk to get a new one only to be told I was put in the wrong room and my luggage was behind the counter. Ok..turns out, they put me in the same room anyways.."

"Clean room, unthinkable amount of amenities (though costly) and staff were nice. Had such a blast and definitely worth the drive to Anchorage each time as the scenery was absolutely amazing during the drive. Would rather stay in Girdwood and drive to Anchorage for more excursions any day! Girdwood is a stunner. "
