Staff friendly, room clean, decor nice. Power went out, but that was due to storms and not the hotel’s fault. Be ready to pay an extra $23/night for a couple pieces of paper for $10 off food and internet that doesn’t work.

The hotel was pretty average. It feels like its heyday was a decade or two ago and is in need of some TLC. The property is maintained, but at a pretty basic level. Tub inserts, residential window unit ACs, standard box spring beds, well-worn hallway carpet, and squeaky flooring. For the Summer rates, I had higher expectations, to be honest. The rooms were larger than typical newer builds, though, so there was plenty of room to leave suitcases open. The most disappointing aspect was the restaurant. It had been talked up, so maybe expectations were set too high. The overall value of the experience just wasn't there. We stayed at a newly remodeled property downtown at the start of our trip and had a much better experience with similar costs.

We booked two separate stays. Our first was 4 days our last was a single over night. The last overnight room we were given a room that overlooked the large trash bins. For the cost of the room I expected better. The pictures of workout room indicated/showed a treadmill and there wasn’t a treadmill. Lots of stationary bikes but no treadmill. Also Missing sets of light waits only had one of a pair of the 5 lbs. disappointed in the service in the restaurant. Came in late one evening and want something small. Ordered a small artichoke crab dip. Waitress never returned with waters, utensils or the bill.
