The staff was very welcoming, courteous and helpful. We stayed for a couple of nights as we needed a hotel close to the airport and options for restaurants. We picked this as it had better ratings than others from recent reviews and ignored the past reviews from early 2025 and 2024. The rooms are small, and the first room that was allocated to us was a little smelly, so we requested another one and it was given to us in no time. The second room was a little far away from the elevator and was good. There weren't much options for breakfast. The area around the hotel wasn't great. Just another mile away there were better options for another $75 - $100 more. I'd say, if price is your criteria go with this. If you need more comfort, options for better breakfast, bigger rooms go for other hotels. It was snow week, and the hotel could have done a better job to keep the area around it clean. Maintenance can be better.

This is my favorite hotel in Anchorage. We love staying during hockey tournaments and have used it when we have an early flight to catch. I feel comfortable staying here when it is just me, when I’m solo parenting, and when we are all together. The location, cleanliness, and kindness of employees make it a spot we will return to whenever we need a stay in Anchorage.

Staff was lovely, but the hotel really needs upgrades. The furniture was very scuffed and for some reason, someone chose to use red sharpie to cover up scratches on some of it? Surrounding area could be pretty sketchy at night. The shuttle stops running at 11 pm, which we did not know in advance even though we had written to say we would have a late arrival, that was slightly frustrating. Overall ok, but you can hear people in the next rooms as if you are all sharing one bed... it suited fine for one night, but I certainly would not stay longer and will likely book elsewhere in the future.
