You stay here for history. You stay here for the unique experience. The entrance to Death Valley is literally a block away, making this a hikers dream. The wild donkeys come to drink next to the back of the property in the morning. The staff are some of the friendliest around. The rooms have a bed and a hot shower, theres a microwave and a plethera of games, as well as a book nook. And an experience you cannot get at the soulless modern hotel. Make sure you take the tour if youve never heard of Miss Marta. "

"Staff at Ice cream parlor were excellent. Front desk not so much. Property is dated but has good amenities. Should have more food options. But we enjoyed our stay"
