"I stayed at Maldron in Glasgow before. The decor is exactly the same. I’m glad Maldron Cork has better beds and the staff doesn’t try to gaslight you unlike Glasgow. The pillow was perfect. The room cleaning was okay. The sink and shower drains very slow. The temp control is fixed at 19C and very cold in the room. The first morning I told it to house keeping and he only turned off a/c function but didn’t increase the temperature despite asking me if it’s enough to raise the temp 1-2 degrees. You can hear next room when they try to plug in their chsrgers. The charging port next to the bed was glitchy. The hairdryer was very dirty and not in good condition but it worked fine. My room was facing another building and there was a loud woman yelling for what assume is her dog Cookie. You can also hear restaurants/ bars dumping empty bottles in the evening for recycling. Last night I ate at the hotel. Good food, slow service but there were only two people working and 6-7 tables. The hotel is very central and easy to catch the bus or walk to bunch of cafes and restaurants. I really enjoyed Cork."

"The room was narrow and not very easy to access, which made the stay less comfortable than expected. Moving around with luggage felt quite inconvenient due to the limited space. Breakfast was also a disappointment. The selection was quite basic and the quality didn’t really meet expectations, although it was still acceptable for a short stay."
