Good service, tired building

Service was great even with kids hockey tourney on same floor. Hotel is tired and needs a refresh. Pool was cold, hot tub broken, low ceilings in hallways and evidence of roof leaks in room and common areas.

Our experience was good except the rooms are not soundproof, and so noisy children can be a disturbance. There is no elevator. Breakfast room is pleasant but attendant during our second stay seemed overworked and unhappy. Many food chains and restaurants are close by.

Gabby was absolutely warm and welcoming, it was easy and fast to check on. There was another staff memeber as well when we entered at about 4pm at the front who was dusting thr light's, she was absolutely amazing as well, she spoke and engaged my 4 year old. We had a long day of travelling and she helped capture my child's attention. I am very grateful as it calmed her down and burned some of thr extra energy.

Had to change rooms after check in placed us right beside housekeeping and you could hear the washing machine through the walls not sure how anyone could even sleep with that annoying noise all night. We moved up a flight and 6 rooms away and you could still hear it.

Friendly staff at front desk and breakfast was great. Our bathroom was not very clean. Hair in tub and floor and nail clipping found on floor. Carpets in hall way are old and smelly. Our room had conjoining door on each side so we had 2….we were not told at check in. This hotel is not Ramada standard.
