We stayed here for our wedding anniversary trip. Cleanliness is very important to me and the room and common areas of this property were very clean. Our bed was very comfortable. We were pleased with the value- we try to prioritize Marriott because they rarely disappoint us and we were so happy this was under budget for us. It was a treat to have the Soda City market right on site on Saturday morning. Transmission Arcade is a few blocks down. The art museum is right across the street and we enjoyed the Keith Haring exhibit. It is about 30 mins away from Congaree National Park, which was an affordable rideshare drive. If you’re visiting to see any of these attractions, this is the hotel for you. :)

The night receptionist was not the most cooperative person. Whenever I come to Columbia I stay here. Never have I met a receptionist like this young lady. The room was not as cleaned as I’ve seen them in my prior visits. You may need to check on your staff and their work ethic.
