An older Days Inn, but it fit the bill on one of the hardest weekends to get a room. Hotel is in need of an exterior remodel. Room was adequate as was parking.

First of all, this is not a Days Inn. It is something called a Howdy Hotel that falsely advertises it is a Days Inn. There are bugs, cobwebs, green goo on the ground, stains everywhere. My husband decided to just not stay the night and drive all the way back home. I have contacted the property and have not heard back.

There was black mold in the bathroom. The exhaust fan was nasty like it never gets cleaned. The ridge had dried stuff at the bottom of it. The sink had some rust. The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly.

What I didn’t like was the grab and go breakfast. There was little options to choose from. That was a huge disappointment. Also, I didn’t like that the pool was closed. The hotel in general is looking rough.

It was graduation weekend in College Station so everything was really expensive but based on previous reviews this seemed like an ok place. The grounds were not kept up, the rooms were dark and dingy. Refrigerator in room was old and loud. The bathroom was not very clean. The free breakfast was a joke. This is a 2* at best place.

Property is older, so lacking amenities of other area hotels. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast is oatmeal, yogurt and fruit bars, because of limited options and no hot food offfered we went elsewhere to eat. Stayed here because it was the only available option for a popular sports weekend that was within our budget. Paid more than we wanted but it was for convenience to be close to A&M campus. Probably will not stay here again.

This hotel is actually called Howdy Inn, not Days Inn. We booked it last minute, but I would not recommend staying here. The rooms are very old and poorly maintained. The bathtub was oxidized, the toilets were outdated, and overall the property was not in good condition at all. The pictures online look nothing like the hotel in person, which feels like false advertising. The condition of the property was very disappointing and did not match the expectations set by the listing. In my opinion, this property should cost no more than $50 per night based on its actual condition.

Property just got sold so sign didn’t match what I reserved- now it is Howdy (something). Property mostly vacant, parking lot in bad shape, pool is covered- maybe will open later? Breakfast was yogurt, packaged honey bun, flavored instant oatmeal, orange and apple juice- disappointing. Room was very humid- lots of water was on top of my metal drink holder in morning.

The room was clean but virtually no amenities. Everything was the cheapest possible version. Towels were small, the pillows were crammed into squares because they weee too flat to be useful without scrunching them up. The tissue was the cheapest I have ever used. The pool was not available and the “breakfast” was a joke. I was told there were no ice machines when I asked. The rate was cheap but you get what you pay for. It was okay for a night but I would not stay longer.

First off this hotel is not a days inn it is howdy hotel. The pool is not functional. Only one outlet was available in the room and the others did not work. There were people making noise outside of our door at 2:30/3am yelling and cursing and talking loud no phone available in room to call front desk. There is no good breakfast when you stay somewhere you expect to have a good hot breakfast but if looking for that here there are only a few to go options coffee, oatmeal and yogurt nothing hot or appeasing. Front desk office workers were nice and helpful. I will not be staying here again. Just was satisfied with the amenities that were offered. If things were changed wouldn’t be a bad option but need to fix some things about the property and they will have more business.

Parking was fine. It's a motel so you park outside your room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room however, was less than fabulous. The linens appeared to be clean, although it had the world's thinnest blanket on top. My main issues were the fact that the sink was still dirty and there was a beer cap on the floor from previous occupants. And if I'm perfectly honest, the interior was so poorly done. It was almost like they were making it feel like you got a cheap hotel and we're going to make it look as cheap as possible. I actually did not stay the second night that I had booked for.

Easy to enter and exit parking lot. Parking can be tight once more guests arrive. Rooms are a decent size for a family of 4. Enough space for all. Beds are decent but pillows are less desirable... Not many power outlets near bed to charge phones. Plugs on the lamps are loose and need to make sure the device is plugged in well. The bathroom is ok. The shower will flood the bathroom due to the curtail not being long enough to drape into the shower. Had to layer towels on floor and then request more towels to dry off. The continental breakfast was none existent. I wouldn't call coffee, juice and honey buns a continental breakfast... Overall it is a decent place to stay with several restaurants nearby and close to a lot of the mojor areas.

The hotel was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The check-in area felt dark and unwelcoming, with very low ceilings that gave it a creepy atmosphere rather than a comfortable one. Our room faced the busy road, and the traffic noise throughout the night was extremely loud. If you stay here, absolutely request a room away from the street. While the room appeared surface-level clean, it felt very old and poorly maintained. The grout in the bathroom looked moldy, and overall the room felt unpleasant enough that I didn’t even want to walk barefoot. The biggest issue was safety. When I tried to lock the door, the deadbolt literally fell off in my hand. I immediately went to the front desk to report it, and instead of addressing the concern professionally, the employee told me they had no other rooms available and then asked what I had done to the lock to make it happen. The next morning, I handed the broken deadbolt to another staff member, and it was obvious the area where the lock connected to the door was crumbling and badly worn. Overall, this property feels neglected and poorly maintained. I would only recommend staying here if there are absolutely no other options available.
