Honestly, the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Room had half eaten peanuts on one of the nightstands when I walked in, bathroom floor dirty with hair on the floor, bed sheets were stained, bath towel had a hole in it. Hallway looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed for a week. Elevator looked like it hadn’t been mopped for 3 days. I’ve stayed at other La Quintas that have been great. This one was awful. Location was good and the free water bottles in the lobby was nice.

It wasn’t the cleanest but it was OK. The shower needed to be cleaned better there was no shampoo just conditioner and the sheets on the bed were damp. The lighting when you walk in where you do your hair and makeup if very dim.

I would never stay here again. When we arrived and checked-in we were not told they had given us the incorrect room type. We got to the room to find 2 queens and not the king we had reserved. When i asked, they did move us. HOWEVER! They put us in the HC accessible room which had 1 QUEEN bed and was significantly smaller (which is an actual issue itself). There were also guests staying on either side of us and across the hall who spent the evening running from room to room screaming and playing super loud music, yet nothing was done. They did provide free room temp water in the lobby, though.

Front desk was on the phone for five minutes before attending to me. He was not dressed very professionally when he began to check me in. He did not apologize for the five minute delay. He just said can I help you? I said to myself, this is not a very professional person at the front desk. However, the rest of my stay was quite good. The room is very clean. The bed is very good. Thank you.

Stains and bad bathroom.

The room itself was fine except the comforter which was stained. The bathroom was terrible. The ventilation sounded like it was going to come out of the wall. The towels had stains on them. The tub was bad. Worn out, no drain cover and was flooding. The faucet was hanging out in front of the wall. Did not even feel clean showering in there. If the bathroom was fixed I would have given it a better review. And need new linens

Expected more from La Quinta

The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionists. We had problem with the TV in the room, and after complaining we got another room. The 1st room had also some unpleasant smell and the 2nd room was a little bit better. The Foaye and the breakfast area look really good, but the rooms, elevator, the common areas need work. The rooms have updated floors, but the bathrooms were a bit neglected. We stayed 3 nights and they never cleaned the room or changed the towels. The breakfast was ok.

When I got there to check in I heard lots of dogs barking, which is great for a pet friendly hotel but not for a quiet nights sleep. They put me on on the fourth floor away from all the barking. Nice and quiet. Room very clean. But when I went to go take a shower after a long day at Kings Island, I only had two washcloths. Luckily I packed a towel. I didn't want to wait on a towel for a shower. I was exhausted and just wanted to take a shower and go to bed. Didn't have coffee at breakfast but I had one in my room. So I was able to get a hot coffee in the morning. Great internet and even though the bathroom was small, the bedroom area was spacious. Overall a good price and a good nights sleep!!
