On New Year’s Eve, we were informed that the hotel bar would close at 10:00 PM and that there would be a New Year’s toast at midnight. Based on this information, we went down to the bar at approximately 9:30 PM, only to find that it was already closed. At that time, we were also told that the New Year’s toast was not happening. Even the front desk staff acknowledged that they had heard the same information regarding the toast and were surprised that nothing took place. This was extremely disappointing, especially given that it was New Year’s Eve and we had planned our evening based on what we were told. Additionally, upon entering our room, we noticed bandages placed over the smoke detectors, which strongly indicated that there had been previous smokers in the room. We notified the front desk immediately after discovering this, as it was concerning and should not have been overlooked prior to our arrival. The miscommunication continued on New Year’s Day when we were told the pool would close at 9:00 PM. Later, without any prior notice or disclosure, we were informed that the pool had actually closed at 5:00 PM. This inconsistency was frustrating and further added to the overall confusion during our stay.

Pool was nice, hot tub was overcrowded most people didn't even have swim suits on, otherwise would have been nice. No towels available on shelves. Breakfast is not advertised as having to pay for it. When booking it says breakfast included, which is purposely tricky wording. Also there was no indication anywhere on the website or in the hotel that stated the pool area would be closed at 3pm on new years eve.
