Getting Around

When flying to Paris, you will arrive at the Charles DeGaulle Airport. There are three terminals, and the airport is connected to Paris by a high-speed rail network, which extends beyond the city to the rest of Europe. You may also take advantage of the RER railway system or the TGV, to commute to specific sites in Paris or other parts of France.

Hints and Tips

While in Paris, visit the Pantheon in the Latin Quarter. This mausoleum was built for some of the greatest figures in French history including Victor Hugo, Voltaire and Rousseau. It includes the famed Foucault pendulum that shows the earth's rotation. After visiting the Pantheon, walk through the Luxembourg Gardens next door.
