You can take the BART rail or one of the SanTrans bus routes to get to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) from San Francisco and other locations around San Mateo County, including the East Bay and Palo Alto.
The flight from SFO to Paris Charles De Gaulle (CDG) Airport lasts 11 hours and 40 minutes. When you arrive in Paris, take a taxi, shuttle, bus or even the train to get to the final destination.
You can’t visit Paris without heading to the Eiffel Tower. It is open every day and you can get there by car, metro or even by boat. Once on top, there are plenty of opportunities for photos of the Parisian skyline.
Don’t miss the opportunity to stop in at the Louvre as well. Here, some of the world’s great art pieces are on display, including Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa.
There are no real extremes when it comes to climate and weather in Paris. In spring, everything is in bloom and June tends to be the most popular month to visit. July and August get a little warm so bring your shorts and sunscreen; however, things get back on track in the autumn with cooler breezes. Winter tends to be cold and wet so bring along a coat and umbrella.
