Dirty hotel. Hard mattress. Small room. Smelled like weed. We stayed for 4 nights and the hotel elevator broke down twice. Rude front desk staff. Sink drain was clogged. No one came to fix it. Will never stay here again. Only thing positive was location was close to family.

Was very nice location, though we had a small issue, the staff went above and beyond to fix the situation. We plan on coming back to Carowinds and will be staying here again. There a beautiful trail across the street that looks beautiful!

The rooms need a little updating but overall a great place to stay with a great value. Close to everything. The breakfast was the best I have seen in a while with lots of options for everyone. The staff were also very attentive and kind.

Hotel experience

When entering the building, the lobby was kind of dusty. But the hotel staff was very courteous and efficient. Once entering my room, the carpet was wet and the room smelled like mildew. The room was very dusty and the AC unit was leaking. Also at 9:30 the maid knocked on the door and asked to clean the room. I informed her that checkout wasn’t until 11 AM. Hands-down one of the worst rooms I’ve stayed in
