The property is centrally located to our planned visiting sites. We were not pleased with the service from a waitress of the breakfast lounge who refused to give me a small container. She wanted to charge me $22 USD for that container since she claimed it had to be charged as another meal. I had 4 pieces of cut fruit and we were in a hurry to leave for our event simply requested a small container to go (they had plenty). Another waitress came to me to explain it would be considered another mail for her to provide me the container. When she saw it was 4 pieces of cut fruit, she said I'll go ahead and give you a small container for this incident since you are not packing a full plate. The room was clean and bed was comfortable! The concierge was a wonderful team and make every effort to resolve our reservation issues that was caused by hotels.com. I would recommend this hotel if you book directly through Hilton, but avoid any 3rd party because they did not send the prepaid payment to Hilton and when we arrived our cancellation was no where to be found as if we never booked. The concierge was compassionate and provided us a room anyway while he and Hotels.com spent hours trying to track the prepaid payment I sent to Hotels.com. Save yourself this headache and book directly. I can imagine other hotels may not honor a receipt I had (from hotels.com showing paid) in which a customer would have had to pay again until they can track the payment.

I was staying over the recent snowstorm event and the night after that hit nothing was moving - so everyone in the hotel wanted to eat there. The staff rose to the challenge and while they couldn’t conjure tables and kitchen staff out of thin air, everybody got fed and the timelines were well communicated.
