The staff had a lot of challenges to deal with during the weekend. But they dealt with everything well. There was a leak in the fitness center and a problem with the front door but everything else was in really good shape.

New, clean, and cheap but don’t stay here. Obviously very high crime area. Police patrol the hallways at night.(Not privately paid by hotel according to front desk) Seems more like a prison than a hotel. Checking in is akin to the treatment of new prisoner orientation at county lockup.

the location on your app needs to be updated for a new woodspring suites location because it took us to the wrong address. the google maps and hotel are not the same!!! we had to drive 30 minutes since you can’t change the address after 4pm.

The two gentlemen working the front desk on 10/7 and 10/8 were so helpful and kind. If I were your business I would do everything in my power to keep them there. They are awesome.

While staying at this property, there were several cars broken into. I had to go 24 hours with no hot water and the staff act like they didn’t even want to accommodate me for that. A certain staff members can be more friendlier and welcoming.

Hotels address is incorrect. Took us to a location across town where we were informed this happens all the time and given a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ADDRESS to the one found online and on their voicemail. Front desk wouldn’t answer my calls or calls from choice hotels. This must happen a lot because their voicemail was full. The actual address was an hour away from our event so we asked for a refund or to transfer to the woodspring we were physically at and were denied. Then the Woodspring wouldnt let me use their restroom before we had to drive across town to the other location! I hate writing a bad review but this was truly a horrible treatment of a customer.

Enjoyable stay

This was my initial stay at this particular hotel. The staff was very helpful…esp EDDIE at the front desk. Hotel and room were very clean and were all I needed for my stay for the most part. Location is tucked away in a business park near I-77 and Tryon Rd…convenient to Uptown Charlotte. Security for guests is upgraded through mandatory use of room keys in order to access main corridors/elevator areas. No breakfast options or restaurant available on site however there’s coffee in the lobby…along with vending machines. There are many restaurant options in the Tryon Rd area close by. Rooms have full sized refrigerator/freezer, microwave, drop-in hotplate, and sink for cooking. Plenty of storage as well. No carpeting to worry about…flooring throughout hotel/room is luxury vinyl plank (LVP). Simple/basic hotel/room for extended stays. Good value for the money. My only recommendation would be to install ice machines on the hotel floors…or at least ice machines in the freezer area of refrigerator.

Multiple vehicles got broken into ours included after we asked the guy at the desk when we were checking in they had any problems there. Come to find out the next morning when cops are to do a report on everyone’s vehicle, someone was killed last week in that hotel.

The map and directions to the hotel take you to a Woodsprinfs suites 30 minutes on the other side of Charlotte. Very inconvenient. I think Orbitz is to blame also
