Communication from Lisa was great and she even delivered a complimentary bottle of wine after we'd had quite a difficult journey getting there."

"We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and very helpful. Our room was very nice and comfortable and the four poster bed was lovely as well. The food at the hotel is very nice and very well priced and the real ales are superb. Although they don’t do breakfast there are plenty of places to get breakfast, we used Ye Old Nags Head and for £10.95 it was value for money. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at The Peak Hotel and will be staying there again. If you haven’t visited Castleton I would highly recommend it it is a beautiful Village ideally placed, and also parking at The Peak Hotel is free which is an added bonus. "

"Lovely. We will definitely be back. The food was really special as was the wine and service. We paid for the deluxe king room and the bathroom was really lovely my only slight gripe was the room didn’t feel especially roomy or deluxe however the bathroom did make up for this as it was gorgeous. Not a complaint but I think I wouldn’t pay the extra for the deluxe room when I come back which I definitely will be doing. It’s worth it for the food and service alone as well as the beautiful scenery. "

"The shepherds hut is warm & cosy with everything you need for a few nights stay. It is in a great location between Hope & Castleton with perfect access to walk around Hope Valley. The views are stunning! Maeve came out to greet us & then left us to enjoy our weekend, even messaging to say we could leave whenever we liked instead of the stated check-out time. Only comment is the listing states that there is a hot tub, but we clarified that there wasn't with the host before confirming the booking."
