"If you check in close to 9pm be sure to bring food with you as room service ends at 9pm.
No hotel guide book or map in the room for hotel services or local food delivery etc.
Instead of a much needed exhaust fan in the bathroom, there was an overhead speaker which is weirdly connected to the television and was extremely loud in the bathroom. Could not figure out how to lower the volume, mute or disconnect it, so we were unable to watch television our first night as it would have disturbed all of the surrounding rooms, so had maintenance come and disconnect the speaker the next day.
Casa hotel is very new, modern and clean. Thankfully, each room has its own air conditioning with individually controlled thermostats. The hotel staff were lovely (very professional and friendly). There is a nice looking bar, which also serves food adjacent to the lobby, though service was slow even when they were practically empty. There is a nice restaurant on the second level with good service and food, minus their desserts. We ordered three of their limited dessert menu items and all three were equally disgusting. Weird combinations of flavors and ingredients that should never go together. Would eat there again, but would definitely skip the desserts, aside from maybe ice cream. The restaurant was the one place in the hotel that did not seem to have air conditioning, so it made for an uncomfortably warm dinner (summer time). Aside from that, great stay overall. Would stay there again!"
