We enjoyed the experience and the staff served us well. It took some time to figure out the show-program schedule. The food was excellent except the steak in the steakhouse was very tough. I would not recommend that restaurant. All of the others were good, especially the Italian restaurant. My wife fell and scrapped her elbow. The staff was very responsive to provide first aide.

Absolutely do not stay here — health and service concerns, especially for families and pregnant guests. We stayed at this hotel from Saturday to Friday, and I can confidently say this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at any property. I would strongly advise anyone — especially families, young couples, or expectant mothers — to stay far away. From the moment we checked in, the service was dismissive and unwelcoming. It was immediately clear that if you look young or don’t “fit the profile” of their ideal guest, you’re treated as if your presence is an inconvenience. Requests were ignored, questions were met with attitude, and basic hospitality was nonexistent. The situation became even more unacceptable when we noticed an overwhelming musty odor in the room. It wasn’t just unpleasant — it was concerning. We soon discovered mold growing on the towel racks, which had also transferred that foul, moldy smell onto the towels themselves. Imagine trying to dry off with something that smells like it’s been rotting in a damp basement. It's not just gross — it's a serious health hazard, especially for those with allergies, respiratory issues, or in our case, a pregnant guest. Speaking of which, the treatment of my pregnant wife was especially upsetting. On multiple occasions, we requested water or a basic drink service, and we were blatantly ignored — while staff tended to other tables around us. It was dehumanizing to see her sit there, visibly pregnant,

********I went for a wedding, MY WEDDING. I liked the atmosphere and entertainment but I did not like how we were not able to properly dine not one night because it was impossible to set a reservation with more than 2 guests. I did not like that my whole wedding day was ruined because we did not go for plan B because they only gave us until 11 am that day to choose, even though at that time it was sunny and Didn’t appear that we were going to get a tropical storm! I was upset that the hotel could not figure out where to place us and we were all out in the rain with thunder and lightning (because it was an outside wedding) . They finally gave us a meeting room and did not refund anything that wasn’t used because of the storm including DJ for the first few hours , lit up dance floor and they did not extend our time for atleast another hour due to the inconvenience, they cut us off right at the time they gave us with Dj basically playing for one hour! They refused to refund us and actually tried to make us pay for a chair that broken because of the rain. So they couldn’t refund us but want us to refund a chair that was already probably damaged prior to even getting to us ! I am very dissatisfied with hotel and will never be staying there again! It is beautiful when you go in due to vines and greenery but DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT! They also give you a hard time with certain wrist bands $$ . We are frequent Cancun visitors but this is one is definitely out of our hotel picks now!

VERY Bad Sian Ka'an Master Suite experience

The first night, the ocean was NOT visible; it was a view of a roof and a distant lagoon. We didn't have a spa/jacuzzi on balcony as we paid for. We were only there for 2 nights for a special anniversary celebration. I wanted my partner to experience the Sian Kaan Master suite to it's fullest. But it didn't work as a first impression. The HVAC had a really bad leak in our bedroom so we had towels all over the floor which saturated the beautiful rose petals I thew down that led to the bed. There was no jacuzzi on the balcony and it was a very small balcony. Lastly our tub did NOT drain so we showered with our feet/ankles remaining in the dirty water that would not drain away. Lastly, there was a male urinal in one bathroom that reeked of urine and I gagged every time I went to that restroom. So I had to resort to using the one in the living room at all times. :( Also, ALL the Si'an Kaan inclusive restraurants were booked and we didn't get the ANY of the ones that we wanted to experience until the last night, they booked us for Careyes, but we were no longer in the positive energy after the aweful first night stay. They finally exchanged our room and we were able to experience what we booked for only 5hrs of daylight. VERY sad.

Overall, I had an excellent experience. The staff was friendly and the outdoor areas — pool, restaurants, and common spaces — were beautiful and well maintained. However, the interior felt a bit old and in need of maintenance. Some areas smelled slightly of humidity, and when it rained, water came into the hallways. There were quite a few mosquitoes, and many indoor areas, including the casino and some restaurants, had no air conditioning, making them hot and uncomfortable. Still, the service, food, and outdoor atmosphere were great, and I’d stay again if these issues were improved.

The property is really nice , there is a lot of construction going on. I didn’t like that most pools did not have steps to get out of , so you had to jump out and scrape your knees. The buffets were okay, but the dine in restaurant were very good. I liked that you can get food by the pools. The gelato and coffee were my favorite. I didn’t like that they didn’t have a night club to go dance. Staff are pretty rude , they do not greet you at all they have no manners. For a “Tourist” area , there was a lot of locals. Nothing fancy about the rooms they are standard. The views are great. I’m not sure if it has to do with the season but the beach was flagged red so not safe. I had a great time but would not stay here again.

This is a horrible place to go and the staff are so rude. They call this place all inclusive but everything is for extra charge. There was even power outage for few hours on one day of our stay which was unbelievable

Best ever. Above and beyond all expectations. Food at the buffet sucks. Grounds are imaculate. Lots of good entertainment and fine dining restaurants that have a dress code so bring your nice clothes. Cabanas rent for $45 a day and come with a waiter. Drinks.... seem watered down cuz the ice melts so fast. The outside bars alcohol is as warm as it is outside temperture so you're not gonna get ice cold drink. It's all inclusive but these people work hard to serve you. Tipping is appropriate. The fine dining restaurants you're going to want to bring $5's for lunch, $10's for dinner and $1's for drinks. I wouldn't give it if they didn't earn it. Dinner reservations for the whole week can be made the first day you're there and they do get booked days in advance. I was there 7 nights and couldn't get into the black hole. Room service menu has few options and no alcohol. Seems like you can't get a drink anywhere before noon. No breakfast memosas. Disappointed menudo wasnt served at the buffet or anywhere, not even on Sunday. Back to the alcohol... bring an insulated bottle to keep your drink cold and they'll mix it in there for
