The only issue was all the electricity went out for a couple of hours on Thursday night in our resort building #1. It was a little alarming and no one gave an explanation or apologized for the inconvenience. The resort rooms and grounds were exceptionally clean. The freshener used in the lobby restroom was amazing. I would like to know what scent is used.

I truly enjoyed the cleanliness of the room, the serenity of the resort, and the convenience of the swim-up bar. However, I did find that in other swimming areas there was limited staff available to take drink orders. The restaurants served excellent food, but the portions were smaller than expected. Increasing portion sizes would make meals more satisfying for adults. Also, since the resort is quite large, additional signage would be helpful to better guide guests.

I just got back from my trip to Excellence Playa Mujeres, this hotel has 10 restaurants and 10 bars, but there’s only 2 or 3 restaurants when it’s time to eat. It’s really difficult for you to find authentic mexican food or meat at this restaurant to be honest, their menu is so limited and almost every menu is plant base, so if you want to eat good do not go here (almost all their food has no taste except from Agave and The Grill restaurants and they’re only open for dinner some days. They never restock the mini bar in my room and spend two days with no water in the room. The hotel is very nice and just needs a couple of updates. Let me just not forget to mention that the wait at the restaurants are just nonsense you could wait up to 45 mins to get you meal at a restaurant. Hotel is visible under staff. Hotel has a lot of summing pools, entertainment was 10/10

We love how friendly the staff is especially Jesus with the pool, exercising and other activities. Roger Angie and Deonte go above and beyond at the sports bar and Caesar goes hard at the martini bar. We will definitely be back for a third time.

We spent our belated honeymoon/first wedding anniversary here and couldn’t have asked for a more magical place. The two story terrace suite was a splurge for us but SO worth it, as the August nights were perfect for the plunge pool. Food was 10/10 and so were the drinks. We can’t wait to come back!

Excellence Club is not worth the extra money. It used to be but, things have changed. Ocean view room means partial ocean view and is also not worth the extra money. Had bad experiences at a couple of restaurants. Management was not helpful and at times rude and condescending. Hate to say but, we were glad when the trip was finally over.

The food was incredible and the service was great as well. The pool was extremely relaxing and the beach was beautiful. The room was very cozy and comfortable. The tv was not good at all. Really needs an upgrade with streaming services options. Outside of just Hispanic TV since the majority of your people at the resort are American. An amazing experience that my wife and I loved, thanks so much!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this resort. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. They even surprised me with a birthday cake, which made the celebration so memorable. A special thank you to Ruben, who went the extra mile to help me recover my iPad after I had accidentally left it behind his kindness and dedication really stood out. We also treated ourselves to the spa, and it was such a relaxing experience. The facial was amazing and left me feeling completely refreshed. The entire staff was so nice, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. Every detail, from the service to the atmosphere, made the experience unforgettable.
