Location Location Location!! Excelente lugar, limpio y con lo basico en el room. Muy cómoda cama y almohadas. Nos sentimos muy seguros. Se puede disfrutar todo caminando y rentar un golf cart por 24 hrs. es ideal para conocer la punta sur de la isla. * lugares a tener en cuenta Isla brewery The joint bar Isla Burger Marina punta blanca (best tostadas de ceviche) "Oceans" en la Hidalgo Y los mejores desayunos en AJAL en la Hidalgo No te pierdas el sunrise en el puente de MIA si no quieres ir hasta punta sur. El cambio de divisa es razonable y en la terminal de ferry se consigue buen cambio. No incluye toallas para playa, pero no afecta ya que estas muy cerca de la habitacion. Volvería sin dudarlo!

This place is a DUMP. I understand that there is newer portion of the facility but that was not the room we were given. Our room was one step above an area y barracks - 2 beds, a nightstand and a mini fridge. There wasn’t even a chair. There were no water glasses, plastic or otherwise, no washcloth, and no hairdryer. When was the last time you stayed in a hotel room? It did not have a hairdryer? There was a handwritten note on top of the mini fridge that said “tips, please” but we never got any sort of service to the room. The view out our back windows looked onto the Reef from other places in the area so it wasn’t a nice view. Best to keep the curtains closed. The air conditioning unit on it had a digital display. It was so bright that we didn’t need a nightlight in the room. In fact it illuminated the whole room and it was difficult to sleep. This facility advertises that its office opens at 9 AM. We tried to drop our luggage around 10 AM and there was no one around. Finally a bartender from the connecting restaurant bar told us that no one would be there until late afternoon. He told us just to leave our luggage in the office and not worry about it. There was no separate room for luggage. There there was never anyone in reception. The lock on our door is very similar to the luck that you have on your bathroom door at home- not very secure. The bar closed at 6 because it rained. Why did we pay the same amount as guests in the new improved rooms? Never again. A DUMP.

We found this little gem a couple of years ago and have stayed several times. We decided to bring our family but realized that things had slightly changed. It is still a nice place to stay by a beautiful beach with many walkable options and would recommend it to anyone staying in Isla. The last time we stayed, we were supposed to wear a band, this time there was no band to show that we were with the hotel and had the ability to park where we wanted or use the umbrella and chairs without an extra charge. Although the staff did a good job of making sure, not just anyone took advantage of this, it was slightly irritating that several people from our party were asked or told to not go up to the rooms or use the chairs. The parking situation is not ideal, but again, the staff did their best to help us get out of tight situations.

They overbooked and we didn’t have a room when we got there. Not a fun experience lugging our suitcases through the sand walking back off the property looking for a room elsewhere. Was very displeased to have travelled a whole day to get to Isla mujeres only to not have a room and have to search on foot for another place to stay that night.
