I had a great stay here. The place is extremely clean, quiet, and very comfortable. My room felt cozy and “home-like,” and I slept really well. The location is excellent — the neighborhood is quiet, but you can walk to big stores like Best Buy, Marshalls, Target, Home Depot, and many restaurants. It’s also close to the Red Line, so getting to downtown Boston is very easy. Free parking is available on the street, except from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Daniel, the host, is very kind and welcoming. He likes to keep everything very organized and tidy, which makes the whole place feel calm and comfortable. He really cares about giving guests a good experience. And honestly, this is the most affordable place I’ve found near downtown Boston. For the price, the value is amazing. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely return.

This home was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. The owner made accommodations for me and it was a blessing to speak to him. The area was safe and the parking was easy. I would definitely recommend staying at this home again.

the home was one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in! the washer and dryer were an amazing touch, as well as the Keurig. :) I also appreciated the number of bathrooms available to the guests. super cosy room — I have 0 complaints and will definitely be booking here again!

Our stay here was by far the worst i have ever had. They changed our room twice, limited parking so if yoi dont get there in time youre out of luck and not a good neighborhood. The room was dirty, it was hot and fan did not work. You couldnt open window as it was sealed with tape. The mini blinds didnt give you privacy since they were short. The homemade curtain was also short not happy with our stay. I would not recommend this stay to anyone

All in all, this was a fine stay. We booked a room at this place and were redirected to a different building/house a block or so over. The room was quite different than the one we booked—much smaller. The place was clean, seemed safe, was easy to access, had some bread, milk, and pbj in the fridge along with a Keurig with tasty coffee, and some cereals. A grab and go more than a Bed & Breakfast as advertised, but we weren’t mad about it. Hit the spot. Bed and pillows were comfy. Cons-guests were allowed to check in pretty late and were quite loud about it. Since parking directions were for the listed address and not the one we were sent to, parking was unclear. When I asked the host if a space we found at the end of the lane was guest parking (it wasn’t marked), he wrote back that he didn’t know and told me I could rent the garage for $20. The listening said we were only to park in the street, but the entire street had “No Parking” signs and tow-away zones. Didn’t understand how he didn’t know the parking situation for the house he sent us to or why we were sent somewhere we didn’t book in the first place.

Please note that this is a very long review. Key summary is that the host is extremely inappropriate, unprofessional, egotistical, and condescending. It is not worth the stay. Also, look at how he replies to negative reviews and how he reply to some 8/10 reviews. It shows that his character lacks professionalism, customer service skills, emotional regulation, ability to accept feedback, and appropriateness. Please read for greater details - it is definitely a rant on the treatment/response he had to my feedback about the check in process. The host didn’t like the review I gave about check in because I reached out on all numbers provided at 7am and didn’t receive a reply until around 1pm. He believes he did enough by sending the instructions prior to check in but the issue wasn’t the instructions per se, it was the lack of communication. As a traveler, I will like to know how the check in process is and what needs to be done especially since there is no front desk. As a result of him not liking the feedback, he decided to cancel the reservation when I still had a night left. I had just worked an over night shift and had another coming up. Thankfully, I was able to find a new hotel. However, some might not be able to do that and it can be detrimental to them. It was completely unprofessional and inappropriate to react that way. He is free to try and gain an understanding on the feedback, but to react that ways show lack of hospitality Please check photos for full review
