Everything was great until our toilet stopped up. I had to go to front desk and get a plunger and un stop myself. That is unacceptable. Unsanitary. I was told there was no one in the hotel that could bring plunger to our room or unstop toilet. I should have been offered another room of the problem couldn’t be resolved by the hotel. I feel like I deserve a discount or refund.

We definitely enjoyed our stay at this hotel and it was reasonably priced. Very friendly staff and Management stopped by to check on everyone in the dining area while we were enjoying the complimentary food and drinks. The room/hotel overall seemed very clean. Unfortunately, we did not have time to experience the indoor pool and/or hot tub but feel it's a plus having the option. Overall, appreciated the very clean hotel, the complimentary food and drinks, and the GREAT staff so we would definitely stay again.

Tonya the person responsible for breakfast was awesome. She was working alone and managed to keep everything clean neat and plentiful. She was very friendly and more than eager to wait on customers. Kudos to Tonya you need more like her. She made the stay pleasant. The young lady working in the lounge was not friendly and she needs to improve her customer service skills. I didn’t get her name but she is the only one I have seen working serving drinks behind the bar. Maybe she was having a bad night.

I love the Drury Inn, esp the staff. They are always so friendly and helpful, and Dinah at the Baton Rouge hotel was lovely. The hotel itself is in need of a facelift though. It’s showing its age. My room smelled musty/smoky even though it was a non-smoking room. Also, the A/C never did cool the room down completely despite the A/C running constantly and loudly (and waking me up) throughout the night). The fitness room is small but nice, and the breakfast/happy hour area is well appointed, although the coke fountain didn’t work for the entirety of my stay.
